There are many different ways to get new subscribers onto your list, however your list building tactics really depends on your budget and how quickly you want to grow your list.

As a lot of my subscribers are generally looking for a free way to get leads I’ll start from there…

The best place to get free targeted leads is from the search engines.  The only problem with getting traffic from search engines for free is that it is very competitive.  There is only 10 spots available on the first page of most search engines, people are really lazy when they are looking for something and only look at the first page to find what there looking for.

With that said if you don’t want to spend any money and can wait 6 – 12 months before you see any results then this is the way for you to go.

Lets not split hairs, this is my list building blog. It’s very hard to get traffic from the search engines and it takes a very long time blogging before you start getting visitors.

If you wanted to start your own list building blog, you would first need to decide which niche you wanted to write content in. Now this is the most important decision as your’ll need to be very passionate about this niche as you’ll have to write a fresh unique piece of content every day.

Trust me I’ve tried blogging in niches where I had no interest and was just doing it for the money. However because it takes such a long time to get any meaningful traffic naturally, I wasn’t motivated enough to come up with interesting unique content every day. Inevitably I stopped writing the content and without any fresh new content the site will just die.
